im just wondering what kind of stuff he could come up with using a good watercooling system.
At this point water cooling wouldn't be much of an improvement unless I also added a Peltier to the system.
I'm looking into it.

Temps in the teens or low twenties would be nice...

a peltier setup with water cooling, and your ingenious air cooling setup would be dead sexy. hopefully when your looking into "it", you find "it" (whatever "it" is.).

good luck with your system clocker!!
Gaint Antispyware is the #1 greatest Spyware/Adware cleaner ever created, I recomend it to everybody, even if you don't think you need it.

Thanks gamer, but luck isn't a factor.
You just have to be willing to rip things apart over and over till they do what you want.

Or you give up and buy a Dell...

The last time I tinkered with my Mom's eMachine ( which used to be mine) I installed SpeedFan, just to check out the temps.
That thing idles at 50c.
Day in, day out....never a problem.

Who knows how high it might go under full load?
Not I, and I didn't want to find out.

I offered to see if there was a way to improve this situation and she said no...it worked fine, it is quiet and she's had no trouble...why fix what ain't broken.

No, she didn't really say "ain't".

Sometimes, sitting flustered with my PC in pieces at my feet, struggling to figure out how to successfully reassemble it, I truly envy her the sense of careless obliviousness that she has.

Then I remember that this is my hobby and without it I'd probably start watching Oprah and snorting heroin to fill my spare time...
