Well I captured a short vid w/my new digicam and when I double-click it to play it in quicktime it opens adobe photoshop instead. Was just wondering if ne1 had ne suggestions

Check for a place in Photoshop where you can change file associations (not sure if you can change this in Photoshop though). If MOV is checked, then it is set to open *.mov files. Thats kind of weird though, I've never heard of Photoshop opening quicktime movies before ![Unsure](//i.filesharingtalk.com/smilies/unsure.gif)
If there's no option in Photoshop, right click the file you are trying to open, select OPEN WITH, then select CHOOSE PROGRAM... Find your program, then check the box: "always use the selected program to open this type of file"
Hope one of the ways works.
