check you have results in the first search tab, it's known to crash when no results are present in the first tab

Well,
To purge results you have to do it manually: Options-->Clear P2P Search History

To edit the "start" page: Im not sure if you mean the page shown in the search area or the one shown in the web tab. But for the webtab just change the option located in the KHancer options. If you want to change the page shown on the search area, you have to modify the html document located in the web folder of the K-Lite directory.

For internal icons, its just GUI. Not that important. But it will come after the final is out B)

he actually tried to make the runtimes downloadable through the installer in rc21 but it didn't work, i found that bug , anyways he just removed the feature fixed a few other bugs and called it rc21b

the next K-Lite release will include the ocx's & the other runtimes the one you posted above doesn't include, says Lite

Kazaa Media Desktop has spyware and adware. K-Lite, Kazaa Lite, and Kazaa Resurrection are exactly like Kazaa Media Desktop only it contains no spyware/adware and has more tools and options/features. You should uninstall Kazaa Media Desktop and check for spyware/adware and then install K-Lite. Kazaa Media Desktop isnt wise to have on your computer.

ypu can go to web folder in k-lite and change the file start.html with what ever you want B)

you could just right click start.html go to Edit and replace everything with the following code to redirect to the desired page

as mentioned by nsane start.html is the search screen or page

you can make any page you want and only put it in the web folder and rename the index file to start.html then replace the old start.html with you new one and all files related to the page u created

any way a sample for search page is in my sig and you can find other web pages in my site too

What is K-Lite?


Its A Addon For Kazaa Media Desktop v2.6 with lots of extra features and very useful tools. Some of the enhanced features are, IP blocker, unlimited amount of search more, no ads and built in toolbar.

What are the specific differences between K-Lite and KMD?

What makes K-Lite better is that it contains no spyware, adware or advertising.

But also a lot of extra functionality has been added. Mostly through the KLR loader and the Khancer plugin.

About KLR

KLR is a loader for K-Lite that improves some of the functionality of the program. It was made by random nut.

What KLR does is load KMD into your computer memory. This is also done by Windows when you run a program. The difference in this case is that KLR modifies parts of the programs code while doing so. This way it was possible to change some of the internal functions used by KMD.

Some examples of this extra functionality are:
* Starts faster and uses less memory
* No unnecessary DLLs loaded
* Unlimited search mores
* Unlimited number of search tabs
* No loading of Gator spyware
* You can block any site you wish in your HOSTS file
* PL is set to 1000
* Ban IP ranges feature

Is K-Lite free?

Yes. It is 100% free. The program is free and the usage is free. You don&#39;t need any subscriptions or whatever to use it.
