Yes, there are other (related) issues to resolve before the final and of course bugs

i agree . but

bugs bugs bugs are still here and until removing every one of them no release is coming out ...

to till the truth i think final can be reachable and without bugs only if Devs can find every bug and fix it as soon as possible .. and to do so you/ we should report every bug we encounter and /or confirm some of the mentioned bugs ..

just needed a little rest. i tried to work on it, but i was absolutely not in the mood for it&nbsp;

so i wrote kmagnet and a new function of KZN which is not finished yet. i think i&#39;ll be in the mood to continue the work on khancer in a few days

so don&#39;t worry any more

I can&#39;t get K-Lite running.
I installed K-Lite, copied kazaa.exe and magnet.exe and installed klruntimes.exe.
But it still says "Error loading dll&#33;"
Have Windows 2000 with the SP4.

Any ideas why it won&#39;t start?

Nameless2nd, You have to click on the Khancer.exe icon for it to work, not kazaa.exe

Wrong version of kazaa.exe... you need it from kmd 2.6.0.. NOT 2.6.2 (as you most likely have)

A good thing to have for the download accelerator extension would be something that kept your download bandwidth usage saturated when you have a lot of downloads going. Just like there is the option to keep the number active downloads between x and y, there should be an option to control the number of active downloads so that, lets say you have ADSL, bandwidth usage is kept at 1.5 MBits
This would maximize the efficiency of Kazaa I think.

You can control the numer of active downloads, thats a standard feature in KMD.

The keep the number active downloads between x and y option is already in my Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.4 but it&#39;s pretty much useless. The bandwidth idea would be much better.

Im sorry, there is currently no way to translate k-lite, mostly because we aim to keep k-lite as legal as possible

i mean, if you translate it, your not actually modifying the way K-Lite is built.. it still wont be like KMD will it?

@tralalala, by translating it, it would be modyfying KMD, which is copyrighted and also cannot be included in the installer

KMD 2.7 was released today

still I wait for the never coming final edition of K-Lite

write code for the new kmd2.7 will take allot of time meanly because win xp sp2 final release is not released yet , and so no need for that change unless big bang happen because of this new release..... and don’t forget new rc 23 i think is been prepared on calm fire now

I wasn&#39;t able to connect or log-in to the K-Lite v2.6 Forum just now.
Is it down or is it me?

My link takes me to the log-in (Screen-name/Password) page
but when I enter the info it keeps coming back to the same page
This is across the top....."This menu has been disabled"

Anyway, I was going to look around to see if this question had already
been asked......

I find that using File>Jump Supernode in 2.6 seems to be just as effective as
using Kazupernodes so I&#39;ve been using it a lot.
But, it&#39;s a little inconvenient always going to File and getting the dropdown.

Could a button be added to the top of the Traffic Window for quicker access
when wanting to Jump Supernode instead of going to File>Jump Supernode?

Maybe an idea for the future . You can access the "jump supernode" function via your keyboard aswell > alt+f+j i think . It would be better though if there where true keyboard shortcuts

1- k-lite works on kmd 2.6 not kmd 2.7

2- k-lite is not compatible to win xp sp2

3- klr.exe loader is not compatible with kmd 2.7

4- losing users

solution

1- to modify the loader klr.exe in order to work over kmd 2.7 <===>

2- make khancer works over that loader and over kmd 2.7 <==>

3-k-lite will work with kmd 2.7 and over win xp sp2 ===>

4- gaining more users , faster downloads and very huge network again


so any one who have any experience in assembly language or any one who can convince <span style='color:red'>RN to give help in klr.exe is more than welcome</span> :helpsmile: :helpsmile: B)

for sake of truth i have seen new things in the the k-lite board..
they say that a a new release will be ready real soon since they are working on the new version based on kmd2.7 .. and they are now on some very advanced stage as they mentioned

Well it might come out soon. But be sure several users are already switching networks, and if they find the other networks more satisfactory, then I don't think they will ever switch back to Kazaa Lite again. For example most of the friends I know have switched to Emule, Ares or Bittorrent.. and yes they are satisfied. This change was mostly due to SP2 upgrade and several problems with the existing lite versions, with no hope of being updated soon.

It feels sad to see such a sad end of such a great client, yes I enjoyed it greatly while it was usable.

I used edonkey and emule but i am not that happy with both of them specially emule ... so many sittings and options that make you unsure what to choose ,,, i like k-lite allot but the developers spend so much time doing nothing but ignoring every remark about the (loosing users issue2) and so this happened

any way

1- emule and EDONKEY are good but they are server related (big issue by it self)

2-bittorent (less seeding and less files and the most important i no old files and software’s)

3-other networks less users and less files swell

4-k-lite can be used in a useful way even with dialup ,,, easy to use and until this moment many users , and files
