    directx have fucked my p.c. offcourse the directx 9 is a piece of shit.now it just keep on asking dlls i go on downloading and nothing happiens and i place in my windows system and another dll shows up is there a specific dll pack for directx????after installing again i get that errors .

    How did you install it? The original pack (you can find it on www.download.com) is 31.8 MB. I would assume that everything needed is in that driver pack.
    As to your last statement, you will find it very difficult to find someone who disagrees. (Unless his name is Bill Gates).

    i installed it from microsoft.com/directx

    Hm, strange... do you remember any of the .dlls it is asking for?

    ya it first asked for d3d8.dll then d3d8thk.dll then gdi32.dll

    when i try to install directx 9c i get this error

    The installer might be corrupt or incomplete.

    Keep a downloaded copy of DX9 handy and uninstall the current one with this app http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=626 then try reinstalling it and see what happens.
