another alternative is test whit no commercial programs like Lightning UK! author of the former DVDDecrypter strips the ripping section outta DVDDecrypter and creates ImgBurn the code to burn .iso images, .nrg (nero images).
really works¨^

ImgBurn though is awesome that it can do everything DVDDecrypter could do burning wise and is improving too.

I have done all this - attempted to do it - on WinXP and DVDShrink just disappears when I click 'backup'. Just goes without a word of warning and nothing remaining. Disappears without trace.
I wonder if anyone has any clues about that and if that gentleman who provided that excellent guide could/would amend his guide with any suggestions as to which OS's it should work okay with and what, if any, configurations might need to be employed?
regards,
ab
