    okay right now im downloading battlefield 1942 from suprnova using bit torrent... my rates are horrible ...

    example:

    Download Rate: 22KiB/s
    Upload Rate: 26KiB/s

    is it just me or are those horrible upload/download rates???

    i mean it says i have 25hours until the download is done...i might cancel it cuz i dont want to waiste my precious time

    You're only as fast as your source(s). Did you enable port forwarding (6881-6889) on your router?

    there is a sectiont that will show u how. and btw at least ur gettnng the files. so its not good complaining

    vegasguy i followed your instructions but when i get to the part that says put the ip in the url blank in internet explorer...i put it in and hit enter and this error page loads up any help???

    oh yea and what did u mean by "oh and the file is coming off suprnova" is that a bad thing that im using that site?

    Depending on your connection type+speed, those DL/UL rates may be bad, good, or neither.

    If you have not already done so, try limiting your upload speed from infinity (which you don&#39;t have) to 25 KB/sec. Infinite upload speed (attempts) causes "minor "broadband overloads which may be slowing your download speeds down.
