why dont you try it out? if it does work then keep the samsung, if not then keep the corsair. there is no harm with just trying it out.

works great!!! i might get some sinks or spreaders so i can trim that 3.0 to a 2.0. doing almost same as the corsair ram. wow!!!
and i can't rma the ram. just checked. they only let you exchange. arg. i'll have to sell it on ebay. oh well

what is wrong with the corsair? why not sell the samsung? if they offer close to same performace id rather have the corsair only becuase of the looks.

if i sell the samsung, i only get between $60-$80. but if i sell the corsair, i get $100-110. plus, the samsung did come with my original system. not sure if that's a bonus, but still.
and with the $116, i'm might sell my 9600 and get myself a 9800 pro for 212 at newegg

oh ic now.
just ran 2 benchies, and noticed significant decrease in scores. that sucks. but my vd card is at stock, and the benches in my sig are when my 9600 is oced. but a 9800pro oced to 9800xt with as5 will drown out the minor crappiness with my ram.
looks good. now, i need to get some heatspreaders or sinks.

yes it should, i agree the fact with you clocker about the heat spreaders, but i beleive that ramsinks will work.

i didn't rma anything. everything i have i sold on ebay. besides, newegg won't even let me rma my ram.
so i have no ethical issues. ok, maybe some, but not in this area
