    What's the best and secure ftp server for SuSE linux 9.0?

    I do not use suse. 4play can help you though.

    This is to-date the most secure ftp daemon in existance.

    i agree with shn on her choice of ftp server. it is also on the suse install cds so just install it with yast2 and it will keep it patched for you as long as you run susewatcher.

    Ty 4play
    I installed vsftpd
    commands lines:
    user=ftp_ user
    pass=ftp_user
    IE doesn't seem to work. But it does from command line.
    Any sugestions???

    have you edited the /etc/vsftpd.conf file to your needs. and read the man pages they are pretty handy.
