There is too much bitchiness/flaming these days, in my opinion (though I'm as guilty as a lot of others of this)
I think this is a natural by-product of the expansion of the membership and the board, more than anything else.

I remember the bitchy ones; they seem to either leave or learn (eventually).

I miss myfiles, TIDE-HSV, olderthandirt (who was supposed to return, sometime), some of the old mods, etc.

Hell, I even miss Zardoz and Hypo.

I wish titey would drop in once in a while.

    Neverose, too.

Titey was a great use of the redneck mentality as a ruse to hide an intelligent mind. He is sort of like Fugley and his return is long verdue.

Longterm was the recovering shoulder dislocator.

NE1GotZardoz- probably left because somebody did have it and gave it to him. I think "Zardoz" was an old Sean Connery flick.

Back in the old days the forum was running on 3 wheels:
    1) An excited group united under filesharing- I don't bother much with that anymore. Used to download movies at 150kb/sec, now it is so hit or miss.

    2) America started a war- certainly kept that section hopping.

    3) Forum energizers- Jonno, Celebs, LilMiss, Lamsey, Weemouse, Titey, Ron, NikkiD, Funky, CBB, Fugley, Jpol, skweeky, ProperBo, The noob generations seemed to be in full swing.

And we had that pedophile Chalkmongoose, so not all was well.

So today we rely mainly on #3 and many of those people have either gotten bored, gotten offended, become a somewhat sinister Musicworld devotee or like lilmiss had the "real world" show up at her doorstep preventing her from hanging out.
Aren't we in the trust tree, thingey?

Yes I tend to agree with all your hyprofeciesieses. I've been feeling a little neuralgic too.

Zardoz was indeed a Sean Connery film. It was about a post apocalyptic world and had a Wizard of Oz message within it.

    Me, too.

With side helpings of anispepsia and frasmotosis.

Maybe I should have my talons scraped or something.
