No Sound

i hear internet sounds but when i play a song on windows media player i dont hear the song, my voulume is on and up what can i do... yes my speakers are on also

is it only windows media player? try hearing sounds in winamp or another play like that

if it's a downloaded file from kazaa it could be your just playing a fake one.
The silence beats the screeching noises though.
