yes you can burn it onto a cd as a "data cd", just burn the file that you downloaded and you can do this using nero itself. also whether you want to use a cd-r or a cd-rw is your choice, using a cd-rw just means that you can erase it and burn the cd again if you want to, a cd-r can not be erased, but are a lot cheaper, your choice its whatever suits you
