    how do you rewrite cd-rw

w/ nero, just pop it in and select your files you want to burn and it will tell you the cd is not empty and ask you if you would like nero to erase it for you, just say yes and then it will erase and carry on burning your new files
or another way is if you are running XP, load the cd into your drive, and open my computer, open your cdrom device and on the left at the top it should say erase this cd-rw, click that and it will erase and you will have a new empty cd-rw!
    Cheers

also another thing is that once you have installed nero, you might want to start by using nero startsmart, there should be a shortcut to it in your start menu in the nero folder. Select data cd and then it will guide you through
