Thread: Winxp Home Activatiom Problem

    Need some help. Built a new rig and installed a copy of XP Home (oem) that a friend burned for me. I had installed it once on my old rig. I went to activate it but it says it has been activated 25 times and i need to get a new key? WTF? Is there anyway around this? 29 days and counting.......

    DL the corporate version so you'll never need to activate it...and turn off auto-update.

    DL the corporate version so you'll never need to activate it...and turn off auto-update.
    Darth's right. I just had the same problem. Corp will not make you activate, that you can be assured of.
