Windows 1.0 Operating System

I have yet to install and verify this .rar, but this the the 1986 release that was used to deliver Windows to what it has become today. I downloaded it from Kazaa and got this hash from someone here in the forum. Just PM me whoever posted this file in the first place, and I will be glad to give some props. Appologies for not remembering who originally posted. Enjoy all.

On second look, it must be a fake because it is under a meg. LOL, just caught that file size now. I have a feeling the first windows was a bit larger than a megabyte packed.

well, if it was from around 1986, that size would not necessarily be a fake. Especially not with a good packer =) I don't remember how large my 'legal' version of ms-dos was, but it not more than 3 disks. (1,2M disk, the 5 1/4" disks)

Point taken...I do remember the days that a megabyte was huge to me and they really ate up my space. I want to test this OS out on an old computer. I will let you know what the story is with the files.
