Thread: Fingerprint?

1. #1
I downloaded Battlefield 1942 and used isobuster to turn the .bin files into .iso files. When I tried to run the crack it asked for binkw32.dll, so I went and found it and put it in the Crack folder. Now when I click on the crack it says, "Could not find fingerprint." What does that mean and how can I fix it? Thanks.

I have no idea what that means, but an easier solution might be to get a different crack. I recently downloaded and installed bf1942, the fixed executable/nocd loader i used was from gamecopyworld. Have you installed the latest patch as well? Its a 240MB dload from the EA games website.

You probably will be able to find a better answer in Gameworld.

um this might sound dumb but with cracks, are supposed to put the patch/crack in the folder with the file is it wants to crack ( eg the game install folder ), not get the file and put it in the crack folder.

It'll tell me that the .dll file is missing unless I put it in the folder with the crack. I'll get the patch and see if that helps any.
