    how long does it take for u guys to encode 1 movie(1 disc) into kvcd using acp? it takes me 5-6 hrs and i think it should go alot faster. what do u guys think?

    Your encoding speed is proportional to your CPU speed.

    mines 1.99 ghz is that really bad?

    takes about as long as the movie, about 2 hours on average
    if you want it to go faster put it on motion estimate search in acp

    i dont use acp cause i think its dodgy and it was slow on my comp too, but i use either main concept eve, or pure motion edit studio to convert to compliant vcd and it usualy takes around the same time as the original movie to convert it from avi/divx to vcd, the i just use easy video splitter to half the vcd into 2 equal parts , and burn them with record now max.

    all up the whole process is usualy around 3 hours to the finished vcd on 2 cd's
