Are there any software which will let me extract videos and music from playstation games to divx and mp3???

Cool question. I have never heard of that before...wish I could assist you there. Just wondering if you could just change the file extensions to the music and video manually. Make a copy of one music file and try it, maybe it will run.
BTW, I used to put Playstation games into my CD changer in the car, years ago, and they played. Of course, the music was stupid back then in games, so it ended up just being suprising that my changer recognized the music media.
Good luck finding that proggie.

yeah playstation files are different to other files on your computer.
its a shame really 
there are some really good looking fmv on most of my games, but i just dont have time to play through them.
oh well.

I figured that was the answer, but maybe you will find some luck doing a google search entering the extension of the media to .mp3 or .mpg.
Or go to a playstation forum and ask them for the tool...if they don't know, nobody will.
