nvidia stated that it's new gen card will be at least twice as fast as their 5950fx. but the thing about that is. their 5950fx is faster than ati's 9800xt now, but the 9800xt out performs it in a lot of tests. so, it actually doesn't matter if it's twice as fast or not. ati's might be twice as fast as their 9800xt too. so, both company's will be back at square one competing against themselves. look at intel vs amd. intels chip is faster, but amd out performs. well, at least in games!
