    Hello ppl ,

I have an old burner that stoped working a while ago, but I was hoping to slavage it.....The problem is that I always get an error msg when I try to burn anything (have already installed the latest firmware).
With Nero, for example, i get this:

    9:06:15 AM #23 mmc -1064 File Writer.cpp, Line 308
    Invalid block address

    9:06:16 AM #24 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 218
    all writers idle, stopping conversion

    9:06:16 AM #25 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 212
    conversion idle, stopping reader

    9:06:17 AM #26 Phase 34 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1348
    Simulation failed at 4x (600 KB/s)

    9:06:17 AM #27 Text 0 File Scsicmd.cpp, Line 371
    SCSI not using temporary buffers
20 out of 20 temporary buffers allocated

any idea what "Invalid block adress" means? I algo get "logocal block adress out of range" error msg's with CDRWin....

The cd-writer is on a system running Windos 2000 pro, 210mb RAM...and the burner is a Philips PCRW 404..

For Nero this may shed some light on the subject: logical block address out of range
