Hey,
Kai and I are having a lil confrontation with CPU fans. We are wondering if the CPU fan normally blows towards the CPU or away?
I think it's towards. He thinks it is away.
Thanks,

Towards.
Ever had food that was too hot? Did you blow on it or suck air past it?![]()
.Political correctness is based on the principle that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
although isnt there a few that suck air too???
99.9% blow towards.
I have seen a few designs that suck air out and even a couple that blow AND suck at the same time ( two fans...one on each side).
But most HS designs blow.
In more than one way....

speakign of that agin, i was just in halfords . and i seen some metal flexible ducting which i may try, its kinda whati was loking for, and i wont use the case fan mount, i have a vented area jut below it with not mounts, its 60mm stuff so i dotn have to change andthing, and if nesecary i have another 60mm fan which could be mounted aswell. and then the case fan could still do its jobOriginally posted by clocker@2 March 2004 - 15:56

justr had a look and the angles may be a big tight, since its flexible, as you said about the other stuff about restricting airflow, i may have alook at b&q at what pipes and joints they have see if it will fit.Originally posted by clocker@2 March 2004 - 17:28
