On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

probably need better cooling.
i think that changed the thermal past ewould be a good idea because i read somewhere a while ago that teh manufacturers just put little blobs on then stick on the heatsync and that blob often only covers half of the gpu. not sure if that is correct or whether they still do it but its worth a try IMO.
I can get up to 350/450, but it doesn't stay stable for too long. That's an obvious sign of overheating. Still, not too shabby for a FX5200.
Perhaps you should think of upgrading, abu.![]()

if your card is held on by little plastic pins then use needle nose pliers to squeeze the ends on the back of the card (opposite side of the heatsink) and push slighty toward the card (dont scratch the card though, be careful). if the pins have springs on them it will be easier to remove because you dont have to push towards the card. When you take off the other pin dont let the heatsink bend too much or it might touch something else on teh card and breeak it or you could damage the gpu.

xt's have a sensor?? dang. ok. cuz the temp prob that i have hooked up to this front temp display thingy won't fit into the heatsink's fins. sigh. the things i do to make my system perfect

when u want to know the temp just hold it to the heatsync for a few seconds then read teh temp on the front of the case. Its not as convenient as having it stuck on but its better than nothing.
