ok. thanks
I think I will apply some AS3 to my 9700Pro. How do I remove the other paste from the GPU that is already on there?

same as on a cpu i beleive. use rubbing alcohol. i prefer using lighter fluid though, it gets the thermal paste off so fast. but dont spill it all over stuff on the graphics card or u might get a fire...and remember to wipe it off the gpu after using it to remove the thermal paste.Originally posted by bigdawgfoxx@4 March 2004 - 22:03

You can go as high as you get it cool mate,Once you're cool as possible then hit probs, just leave it until you get a better card to overclock.Thats as far as she'll go you'll just kill the thing..unless you can get it cooler, until one of the other components on the card pops ,like the resistors or diodes ,,they have heat limits too.how much higher will i be able to oc if i add as5? i'm already getting artifacts at 411
I am still not sure that you got to 378. Show me the link!Originally posted by abu_has_the_power@4 March 2004 - 19:49

If you skim down towards the bottom it tells you what to use, I have acetone(not nail polish remover either) and it works like a charm
Today is the day.
