thanks all i configured 1 of the 3 useless buttons to open winamp. now the IE buttom open maximized. 1 last question..i used to have the original IE icon on my desktop..then i deleted it to make a shortcut and configure it to open maximized. well it said when i deleted the orginial icon if i want it back i can look in control panel..where in control panel can i get it back?
right clickk desktop>properties>desktop>click customize desktop>check off internet explorer at the top.

The shortcut properties trick only works for the first window then the ones after that still open in a smaller size. NE other suggestions?

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer in there youll find IEXPLORE.EXE
right clik -send to -desktop

yes but thats a shortcut..i want the original one that first was on the desktop when i bought my comp. it said u can get it back somewhere from control panel.
