    OK I called another store and they offered some different parts then what i asked for but it all turned out cheaper

    here's the different parts than I wanted

    Before: Sapphire Radeon 9600pro
    After: Powercolor Radeon 9600pro

    Before: Gigabyet GA-7n400-L1
    After: Asus a7n8x

    another beef I have the guy says I should use the amd stock heatsink and how it's quiet and good and yada...

    So these changes good?

    btw, isnt the A7N8X more money than the gigabyte one...with the same features

    then go for it, 100 is a lot. the asus board is fully capable it is a good board and power color makes good vid cards so i dont see why not to go for it if u save that much.

    Agreed, with that extra hundred bucks you could spend that on lights or whatever you want, somethin to make it look nice too, or even get some good cooling or another HD, a hundred is a lot to save

    I use my stock heatsink that came with my 2500+ and it's fine! I have no problems with it at all
    maybe better thermal paste, but the heatsink is usually decent
    what one were you thinking of getting before?

    You sure? I ws on Overclockers.com and it said it was a good paperweight...

    Oh and should I get the GeForce FX 5700 ? it's the same price as power color 9600pro

    Nah, the stock HSF is actually quite good, I'm happy with it, and I know tons of people who have OC'ed really good amounts just with stock HSF

    and as for the GFX, just search around and check some benchmarks like this one

    This one has the 5700 Ultra, not sure if thats the one you were saying, or just regular 5700, but look around and you'll get an idea of whats the better card, reviews are always good to pay attention to as well
