it will be compatible but for sure get a motherboard that can support 400mhz fsb. when you overclock the 2500+ you just set the fsb to 200mhz (400mhz effective) and you have a 3200+ so in order to assist with the overclock having a motherboard and ram that can run at 400fsb will help a lot.Originally posted by AcID ZeR0@6 March 2004 - 19:04
So far I've brought the case thats all sorted I'd like to buy everything else today just a little confused over this matter.
The mobo I'm looking at ( http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=49061 ) says it supports 400FSB now I cannot afford the 400FSB 2500+ Barton, So can I use the 333MHz FSB barton in it what diffrence would I notice between the 400Mhz 2500 and the 333Mhz one and are they both compatible with that mobo?
