hey, if u use ntfs...then the winxp cd will be all u need
if u use fat32 like me, then u'll need the winme floppy boot disk, that can format using fat32
btw, wat's this winxp corporation version anyway? anyone can post any info?
also, when u guys talk about sp1...u guys meant sp1A, right?
dun wanna recommend outdated stuff to him
Please be kind to the noobs...we were once them after all
Windows XP corp is a version of XP Pro that does not need to be activated
it is also known as Win XP Pro (Volume Licescing edition)
because they are images they will probably be bootable. when you burn the CD use the burn image option in nero and it will be bootable
PS if you open the image in WinISO down the bottom left corner it will say bootable CD or Non bootcd
There are 10 types of people in the world those who understand binary and those who dont
If my memory serves me right there is little difference between sp1 and sp1a just some legality about microsoft having to remove something(i'm getting old so i could be wrong)The best version to find would be xp pro corp sp1 intergrated bootable.. and oh ya corp is the version business' run they don't have to worry about that nasty feature of registering a cd key before a certain time...And i would think twice about dloading a os from kazza (corruption and virus's) I would suggest IRC.. But if you must have a good read hereOriginally posted by gildan2020@6 March 2004 - 07:05

ok...then how do i know whether i have winxp pro normal or winxp pro corp?
i mean winxp pro normal doesn't have those stupid activation feature as well, right?

XP pro normal (retail) = activation
XP pro corp = NO activation
If you downloaded XP Pro from the net it will most probably be corp

Windows XP 'Pro' and 'Corp' (AKA 'Volume License' are the same. The only difference is the CD Key.
The idea of a 'Corp' CD key is to allow companies with large numbers of computers to install XP on all of their machines (using the same key) without having to acivate them. A volume license costs barrow-loads.
Do a p2p or Google search for bluelist for a keygen and instructions.
There isn't a bargepole long enough for me to work on [a Sony Viao] - clocker 2008
