in the directx diagnostic tool I saw that all the .dll files are "final retail" whereas mfc42.dll is "beta retail". what does beta retail mean? could it mean that it may be faulty?
When I do the direct3d test direct 7 and 9 work fine but on direct3d 8 interfaces test it says
"test failed at step 5 (GetDeviceCaps): 'some alphabets and numbers here' (3d not available) "
some games of mine are not working (gta3, warcraft3...) could this be due to the directx problem? Any ideas on how i can fix it.
the games worked fine on the computer of a friend of mine.

my video card is intel 810.
    ram 256
    pentium 3 1133mhz

    thanx

Does that card have 3d capability?

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"
