    All you people that said, "Don't get 64 bit there won't be anything coming out for it," can eat your own hats!

    If one was to get a free 64 bit Linux distro, one could, FROM THE BOX, use a 64 bit version of UT2004, which actually gains 20% performance wise over the 32 bit version.

    I&#39;ll clear off my old hard drive and do a dual OS boot once I find a 64 bit Linux distro to d/l, and have some bandwith free.

    Any Linux-ers out there, I could use some help

    EDIT: The game comes out on Marth 19th by the way.

    are opteron processors 64bit?...are opteron processors the ones for laptops i cant remember.

    Opterons are dual CPU versions of the 64 FX.

    The first UT had Linux support, Epic is leading the way for Linux gamers

    CD3 of UT2003 contained the Linux installer for that too if you&#39;re interested.

    I would but:

    633MHz Celeron
    384MB RAM
    64MB Nvidia GeForce 4 MX440


    Tux Racer is kind of fun though
