Windows Explorer

I've got this folder with a bunch of video files in it and when I try to open it, it gives me the windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close box. I was just wondering if ne1 knew why this was or if they could help me fix the prob? :helpsmile:

What is the folder view like?

If it's on thumbnails then that can cause that since it tries to bring up a thumbnail for every video file in the directory, especially if you have thumbnail cache turned on.

Try changing the folder view to list.

In windows explorer click on "view" tab and select list.

Thx that seems to have worked. Funny thing is I kinda tried that but I switched it to tile instead of list and it still wasn't working Guess I shoulda tried more views than the one. Thx again.
