bah. yeah. the sale didn&#39;t start till the 11th. the stores were supposed to pull the games off the shelves the previous weekend, change the prices, and then put them back on the shelf on the 11th. but the info leaked out early and pretty much sabotaged the sale for "regular" people.

the salespeople at my local CC said they were told not to sell the clearance items early, but they had so many customers coming in since july 3rd demanding &#036;4.99 games that they just sold it instead of arguing with all these peeps.

all they had left were old sports games. i don&#39;t even wanna play 2004/2005 EA sports editions, much less the 2002 versions. congrats to Busyman though, sounds like you made out like a bandit. B) there were a few on the list i wouldn&#39;t have minded getting... but on second thought i can&#39;t really afford to buy games right now and woulda needed to dip into my savings account, anyway. good thing i have a dvd burner and access to cheap blanks.
