    Can anyone reccomend the best software to "back-up" DVD's on the fly with?
    Im having problems with DVD movie factory 2.

    Smartripper, then use dvd2one. One and a half hours later, you are backed-up.

    If you don't want to rip a bunch of .ifo files to your hard drive, you can use DVDx. It can copy DVD to VCD, SVCD, and AVI in one step. Check this thread if you want it.
