Just wanted to know if i can burn normal things such as data cd's or iso's using dvd disks on a normal cdr/rw drive; coz i was told that i could but i don't wanna shell out for a dvd disk if there's no need to.

um no you can use dvdr in a cd burner, you can use a cdr in a dvd burner

dvd burner - cdr/rw(700MB) or dvdr/rw(4.7GB)
