Tv Out Question

if i have my card pluged into the svideo to rca adapter, and the rca side plugged into the tv, is it ok if i just unplug the rca plug on the tv with the computer on? i heard that if u unplug the s-video jack while the pc is on, ur card dies. but is that the same for the rca side that goes into the tv? or do i have to restart to switch the rca plugs on the tv?

My brother did it safely w/o any problems but you should be safe. Theres no need in taking the chance and ruining your video card. I would restart my pc.

where you heard it mate,but you wont damage your tv or pc if you unplug/plug the leads with them on/or off.

iv got tv out on my grafix card dont worry about it i pull mine out all the time and its fine.

I unplug them often with no ill efects. There's no power running through those leads so it can't do any harm.

i had my computer downstairs once plugged into my tv through svideo and i kept pulling out the plug with no problems at all. you should be fine.

its just like pull a scanner out its not a part of ur pc its just a add on if u get me.
dotn worry pull it out all u like just make sure u dont snap any thing off whipe pulling it out
