Well im totally offended, but not for the reasons you may think.

I will admit that some jokes are tasteless, and some are downright objectionable
HOWEVER this joke did not disparidge the mentally retarded in any way. The butt of the joke was us. If you wanna take that joke badly, that's your problem. I for one found it mildly amusing.

So you are related to, or know someone who is handicapped, big deal. Im sure we all in one way shape or form, are related to or know someone that a particular kind of joke can apply to.

So you dont have to get all
It's not a very good joke you fucking prick
Cuz that makes you a fucking prick

Either enjoy it, or ignore it. No need to be a goof about it.

There's no 'I' in 'team'. But then there's no 'I' in 'useless smug colleague', either.
And there's four in 'platitude-quoting idiot'. Go figure.

We're not reading the same joke by the looks of it
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

You think it's funny to mock mentally disabled people (even in jest), and I don't.
