    our heating went off last week so we decided to use an oil heater from upstairs. Worked perfectly until 20 mins ago... No more plug...

    You may want to check the ratings of your fuses/breakers. They may be too high. If they are REPLACE IT NOW. You don't want your place to burn down.

    Looks like an easy repair.

    It's just strange to see the 230volt parts.



    And, yes, check the fuse or breaker.
