check this out , I didn't do it but it blew my mine

this old pentium 1 mmx, that was running xp. It was pretty much useless except for downloading. So i thought id spice it up a little bit. So i decided i would oil-cool it and overclock it as much as possible. I have it @ 200 mhz up from 166, would be higher but my bios has no clock mulitplier, nor any way to change the voltage. And the 2 voodoo video cards are @ 109 mhz up from 90. here are a few pics.... ignore the not so great pic quality.

Is that board literally in contact with oil?
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

only problem there is oil isnt that good a conductor of heat, or the removal of heat lol

but its a nice trial lol

i once saw a guy who mod up a bar fridge and enclosed his box in it , man the whole thing ran at 4 deg c , and he o/c it till you almost could see the screen for artif/s, but it kept running

but man i give you this , 10 points for trying lol, its like the old heat exchange units aircraft used to use, you need some way to cycle the oil through a cooling system to dispense the built up heat

keep trying man you will get there lol

Wouldn't Windows 2000 be better suited for that?

    Wow, good job muchspl2
I woulda thought the oil would have done some damage to the board, but apparantly not
