20,000 Cds And Lps...

OK heres the deal guys i wander into my parents music room and i see about 20,000 CDs and the same amount of LPs (mum used to DJ on a radiostation in Denmark and Dad still DJ's in nightclubs around london)

Now i would love to rip all of these and then join musicworld with these as a show of good faith but how do i do it? which apps etc

Once you join the MusicWorld room on Soulseek, I'm sure there will be guys willing to help you with all the info you need.

Perhaps you could start by compiling the list of albums your mum and dad have.
And if someone finds anything interesting, you could then just rip those.

I use Easy CD-DA Extractor myself. It's pretty fast.
I have a really old CD drive, but it still rips a full album in 10-11 minutes at 192 kbits.

I have heard that you can rip the whole album in just few minutes with a decent CD drive.
