Right, the other day in slsk Lamsey told Marc to ask me what the French word 'futre' means.

At the time I thought he meant 'foutre', as in ' Je n'en ai rien a foutre' (I don't give a damn). Apparently that wasn't it though. So I looked up the word online in several dictionaries but couldn't find anything in French.

I did find it in a Spanish dictionary and in Spanish it means 'stupid person' (or something along those lines).

So, is it an existing word in French or not? And if so, what does it mean?

I was told by one of the French assistants who came to my school that it means "Fuck". Perhaps it is a dialect

I never ever heard that....Could be a dialect or some sort of recent slang.

I always use 'baiser' for 'to fuck', but 'fOUtre' can be used in that context as well I think.

Perhaps it's a slang misspelling of foutre then... somewhat like 'feck'

At work, I've got an internet connection to pay...

Anyways, foutre is slang and, as almost all slang words, has different meanings.
It may be used as the verb "faire", but always in a negative sense ("j'en ai rien à foutre!").
It can also mean sperm, the way you english-speaking persons would say "cum" or "gizm".
And of course it may be used as f*ck, in "va te faire foutre!" (=go f*ck yourself&#33

well, back to work, I guess... See you later!

    **********Edited for rampant gayness**********

There's no 'I' in 'team'. But then there's no 'I' in 'useless smug colleague', either.
And there's four in 'platitude-quoting idiot'. Go figure.
