im at home in west midlands and i connect through a standard 56k modem

sometimes its instant, but on this occasion ive been waiting about 40 minutes and still no joy

hmmm i wonder, i don't know too much about 56k.

try it with an empty shared folder, after connect put everything back, then put all files back and set to scan for new files
