I have been here well over a year...I am no where near getting 5 stars...Those who know me, know what I am like and this is the same for many of the regulars in the Lounge or wherever.
The stars thing is fun although contribution is perhaps more important than post count. I don't know if the mods could allocate stars according to helpfulness or something but then it would be down to a few people to decide. I guess we could run a sort of voting system to decide who should and who should not have snr status.
I dunno...just my thoughts

Never relized that, it actually makes sense...Besides as I understand the reason lounge posts counting was brought in was to reduce spam in other worlds from people trying to get their stars by making pointless posts in say Movieworld or Gameworld...

Also by doing this the total star and post count is really a non issue imo... That's why we hide the amount of posts only the stars are (still?) there, but that's more because they belong to the design of the board and it just looks colourfull
It's almost impossible to control spamming as to judge what is spamming... but as we gave it a place now, it's not a big issue anymore (at least for most people).
The idea for making talk club seperate from the lounge was ment to divide it even more, nice of topic talk seperated from nice nonsense of topic talk...
