Actually it was Samx4 that brought it up a few days ago, I don't remember on which forum. I've been thinking about it since then, so naturally when I saw Bob's thread I jumped in.

No conspiracies. Just a simple question. Why is Billy Dean still banned?

My only comment on this is that if a deal was made with 7th about the length of Billy's banning, I think that it should be adhered to.

I was always under the impression that it was for one month only.

On a final note from me, do believe what you want, it's no conspiracy from us against aussies. However i find it a bit strange, seeing Bowrabob being absent since
19 februari and coming back and starting to post about this non-issue. No offense intended but i can understand people believe this post is made to stir up old news/problems again. As i said before and seen the post BD made elsewhere let it ggo. He's happy were he i and we are here....

there are so many people i miss in here, guess if we all start posting about that. where is El jefe, Bender, Share Daddy, UKPete and another thousand more... this isn't real life get over it.

Jetje, I could be wrong, but didn't the msn conversation come after the topic was posted? To start with 7th was saying it was a total ban. So it's hardly surprising that Billy Dean was saying it was his last post.

It was during that conversation that 7th changed it from a total banning to one months cooling off. That's the way I read it anyway.

No disrespect intended jetje but I think I'd prefer to hear 7th's thoughts on this. The discussions were between 7th and BD after all, I can't recall you being part of the msn conversation.

Aussiesheila, forgive me i can't give an exact recalling of those days.
All i know there were problems and somehow they couldn't be solved, the result was a ban for Billy. Fair or unfair, i guess no one will be right. Things happened as they happened. It was not one person that decided but there was a voting by all team members, the fairest way we can do it on this forum. The result was to ban Billy.
Ban is something else as moderation, if there is a need to have someone on a temporary base gone, there is the moderation option. As i believe ban is what it said... ban (as in forever).

The people that think that the mods and admins are unworthy to take decissions around here, are on the wrong forum. We really do everything in the interrest of this community. Sometimes good and some things bad, but sometimes we need to make decissions, and i'm sure we do it in the fairest way possible. Whatever the outcome... and believe me it's more difficult to act sometimes as it is to debate the actions taken


I wish Billy Dean all the best at his forum, and speak out the hope we all can move on and let this behind us.
