it looks like ATI will be way way better for benchmarks than nvidia, but in real world performance I doubt you will notice much difference.
I will probably go for an ATI pci express card in the future though, but we'll have to see what happens.
i think that atividia would have developed a much better card... if only they existed...

Certainly you'll need a new mobo for ATI cards, but Nvidia may bring out their cards in PCI-X and AGP-8x versions.
