I hope not. Requires a bunch of extra effort and takes away from the main focus. How often to people play PS1 games on their PS2? Not too much (at least not me or any of my friends). When the XBox 2 games come out, you won't care about XBox 1 games.

I have a PS2 and a Gamecube by the way. I think they all have their strengths and weaknesses. It's ultimately the games that make the system what it is and we must always remember that. B)

It's going to be interesting to see all that Microsoft is going to be showcasing at E3 and about their next system in the summer.

i would say that both the xbox and the ps2 are good as the xbox as better hardware and graphics while the ps2 has better games. ( By the way,i own a ps2) B)

they all have there positives and negatives, but to say 1 is better then another is just a personal opinion, and of the people who have a valid point, there opinions come from what theyve read personal use what they liked the feel of better. obviously each of them has their own unique games and that is also another personal opinion.

here is my personal opinion:
1-PS2- best controller, average graphics, plays dvds, many of the best games (gta, ff, mgs) good online, best game manufacturers

2-Xbox- unique controller, best graphics, bad size/appearance(its no big deal) some of the top of the lines games (doom3, halo, wreckless) best online

3-NCG- bad controller, decent graphics 4 cell shading(which i think was a bad idea) portable size, few unique games(zelda, re, mario) no online

if you have ever heard of a processor called "the cell" then u no as well as i do that the ps3 will b the only system 2 buy in a year or so, if not, look into it
