It is apparently in vogue to bash The Lounge or look down on the members who spend a lot of time there. I just thought I would defend it by pointing out that it is by far the most active part of the board. Obviously some people don't like it and choose not to go there, or to go but not post. That is absolutely fine, but there is no need to have a pop at those who do.

Some of the people who go there, for a laugh, post much more eloquently and interestingly than a lot of the things I read elsewhere. Others do not and post one word replies or smilies. Neither is better than the other, just different.

If you are reading this last sentence, thanks for taking the bother, I appreciate it.

I agree with you J'Pol...the Lounge may be the most non-sensical portion of the board, but that does not invalidate its place on the board, and should not allow others to take pot shots at it

I agree with the both of you. I have become fed up of the habit of looking down on the lounge and its regulars too
