Thread: Port Forward

    my new router Lantech. I dont know how to do port forwarding wiht it. I am sending the screenshot of the settings page of the router. I am assuming that port forwarding is to be done in either of these pages. I used linksys before but this one looks totally different. Some one help me where how to put the port numbers and my IP address in my new router. Help please

    for special applications put 6969 under trigger port, trigger type and public type is TCP, under public port put in 6881-6889

    then enable..my router is like that also

    If you have not had router before you will also need to ue Kanat, and have a look HERE

    KaNAT is needed when using a router with Kazaa/Kazaa Lite (and you need port-forwarding THERE as well&#33

    But for BitTorrent and other file-sharing programs, port-forwarding alone is almost always enough to get past the router.
