So Slow That This Is Absurd

hi, i'm using bittornado to download the latest splinter cell: pandora tomorrow, at a very very slow rate.

in suprnova, there's about 700 seeds with another 8000+ downloaders
but why am i getting only 1 seed and 8 downloaders connected to me? worse of all, this has been going on for 7 hours today (and 6 hours yesterday)

i'm firewalled but i know which port to allow (the bt light is green). this seems to only happen with this game, i dun face that kind of prob before. anyone knows wat's going on?

Did you try using a different torrent program to d/l with? I've been gettin good results with Azureus.

it has nothing to do with the client
with seed/peer ratio what do you expect, >1 seed per 100 if your green in bittorrando just leave it alone it it will speed up
if your yellow, then open your ports in your router
6881 to 6889

ok, the client doesn't make much difference

muchspl2, so ur saying that having so many peers over seeds is the reason that i connect to so little ppl? but shouldn't i be getting a lot of connections to peers as well and most of their download progress is above 10%. they still have to contribute...

Have you tried changing your uplaod settings? Sometimes this helps as having it too high means your flooding your connection

i put it into dsl settings, tried decreasing upload speed as well
i even tried 56k settings...still no change
