On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

Is that with the stock cooler?
Did you apply arctic silver or just the stock thermal pad?
Sound like fun, you finally got it, eh? Been thinking about it for quite a bit now, eh?

oh boy the temperature is 53 degrees :x
Ohh noo!!! I make dribbles!!!
Listen, if you dont plan to overclock, that temp should be ok.....I assume you are running or have been running some processor intensive apps to get 53?? if so, you should be fine...if thats idle temps, they are a bit high. Check that your heatsink is clipped on properly and sits perfectly flat on the processor, not slightly raised or out of alignment.
If your using the thermalpad, it's takes a couple days to settle up. Then your temps should be lower.
actually they both do that, but i dont think arctic silver has as much of a drop.Originally posted by zapjb@29 March 2004 - 07:21

@keiken, your bios might have a setting to make teh fan run at different speeds, it might be on its lowest setting. you should check that out.
Keikan how many fans have you got...
Also do you have an exhaust fan installed?
I've a near identical rig to yours. My case is 25 c but my CPU is 41 c (idle) and thats overclocked at 2.04Ghz.
I wasn't going to buy it in the first place, so me downloading it for free isn't losing them any money.
