so you want to stop them from downloading? try making their accounts limited accounts, then go into internet options and set the stuff under security to not allow anything to be downloaded, although that might also stop it from working on ur account...

edit: try using spysweepe. the casino stuff is spyware, and spysweeper has an automatic protector thing sorta like a virus scanner which you can turn on through the options...just leave it running and it will automatically delete the stuff.

you might have spyware and or a trojan on your computer, download and run
    spybot search and destroy
    and
    Adaware

(make sure to update the definition files before running). Also make sure your virus scanner (you do have one right?) is up to date and do a scan.

I've come across a program which secretly downloads and installs programs off the net before, eg Jraun which hides in your computer and secretly installls golden palace casino

If you want to not allow other people to install stuff on your comptuer you should set up accounts with varying levels of access and control for them. ie you get administrative access and others get limited, unfortunately it means logging on and off all the time, which both sucks and blows.

What version of Windows are you using?
If you're using Windows XP Professional, you can set all other peoples' accounts to User which will not allow them to install programs or make changes to system files.
You can't make every account a User because you need an Administrator account active to be able to make changes to the system, so you'd just give yourself a password and make yourself the only Administrator.
Similar options are available in Win2000 & WinNT, although Win9x/me don't have the feature. I don't think WinXP Home has the feature either.

i just wanna add to that, if you do it this way and someone has a game or program which they want to install, to quickly allow them to install it just right click the setup file and click run as...and you type in your username and password but it stays in the limited account while they install. they will not be able to run anything other than that installation so it will still be safe to do.
