Thread: This Page Cannot Be Displayed

    every around 5 pages i go to gives me the t"his page cannot be displayed" error. its pages that i know for sure work (like this forum). i have to press refresh a million times to get the page to work. any1 know why this is happening?

    um , you havnt optimized you internet connection have you , i read somewhere a while back about it setting something to 1500 and it sould be max 1495 or something like that, i can remember what its called. shit someone will know and post it im sure

    other things that could be doing it is spyware , get spybot and do a check

    Always a good idea.

    Maybe your connection is dodgy - if you're on broadband , check if you have the "automatically disconnect after xx sec "option turned on.

    Internet Explorer used to do that to me a lot. Never had a problem with any other browser, though.

    mine does that after i have been online for a few weeks. i just reset the connection and it works fine. you might wanna try it.

    what do u mean reset the connection? u mean reinstalling the adsl modem?

    No, disconnect & reconnect.
